Triv-E-Okie
Triv-E-Okie
Have you ever sat at karaoke night and wished you had something to do in between your turns to sing?
Have you ever been at trivia night and sang along to a few songs while also asking the host if you can get bonus points?
Triv-E-Okie is the answer you’ve been looking for!
Triv-E-Okie is a music trivia game, that you play as a team, and asks questions about the song that is being sung and awards your team points for sending a singer up!
The Origin Story
I came up with the idea some time ago actually. It was probably 2014-2015 somewhere in there. At that time it was a simple concept but not much more. How can I combine the two things I really enjoy when I go out? Karaoke and trivia. I approached the owner of the trivia company I was working for at that time and was told he wasn’t interested and got out of the karaoke business for a reason.
Fast forward to January of 2026. Im now at a steady job with no further room for advancement. In the moment that i realized my job was at a dead end i turned around. I took some time and hashed out a format to put to my karaoke trivia idea. After testing out the format a few times and doing some market research i brought it back with the name Triv-E-Okie.
